JENNA HORTON lives in Philadelphia, PA where she works as a collaborative theatre maker and performance artist and runs a small home-cleaning and cooking service.
Jenna is an Associate Artist with Team Sunshine (Bienvenidos Blancos, The Sincerity Project, JapanAmericaWonderWave, Henry IV, Terrarium, Hypotheticals). She has also collaborated with Annie Wilson (Lovertits), Mark McCloughan (Mounting Etna), The Berserker Residents (The Jersey Devil, The Giant Squid), SwimPony (The End, The Giant Squid), The Bearded Ladies (Wide Awake, OO7, Marlene and the Machine), Applied Mechanics (Vainglorious), Lightning Rod Special (Let the Dog See the Rabbit) and Chris Davis (Anna K). She has acted in productions by Shakespeare in Clark Park, EgoPo, Inis Nua, Gas & Electric Arts and the IRC. Outside of Philadelphia, credits include Chorus for Nature Theater of Oklahoma's Life and Times: Episode 2 and Ants and Paper Planet with Polyglot of Australia.
Jenna currently writes for thINKingDANCE, is a former Emerging Artist Resident at Plays and Players, and attended the Headlong Performance Institute in 2009. She holds a BA in Performance Studies from Brown University and studied at Escola de Clown in Barcelona, Spain.
